What a greenhouse changes
Outdoor cannabis grows under open sky and takes whatever the season gives it — sun, wind, rain, humidity swings, the lot. Indoor is the opposite: a sealed room where every variable is set by the grower, paid for with electricity running around the clock.
A greenhouse sits deliberately in between. The plant still runs on free sunlight, which is what keeps the price near outdoor, but it has a roof over it and controlled airflow. What that R10 buys you
Compared with AAA Outdoor at R50, greenhouse generally gives you:
- More consistency between batches. Fewer weather variables means this month’s jar resembles last month’s.
- A denser, tidier flower. Outdoor tends to be airier; greenhouse holds together better in the grinder.
- More aroma. Sheltered plants generally finish with a stronger nose than open-field ones.
What it does not give you is the tight, heavy, resin-heavy structure of indoor. If that specific look and finish is what you are buying, greenhouse will not scratch the itch and you should spend the R130.

When greenhouse bud is the right call
Buy greenhouse when you want your everyday jar to be predictable and you would rather not pay indoor money for it. Buy outdoor when volume matters more than finish. Buy indoor when the experience itself is the point.
